By registering for the Scoil Acla Summer School (the “Event”), you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions outlined below by Scoil Acla CCÉ.

1. Registration and Attendance

1.1 Registration on behalf of others

If you are registering on behalf of another individual (including a child or group), it is your responsibility to ensure that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. By completing the registration, you confirm that you have made them aware of these terms and that they accept them.

1.2 Admission

Your registration entitles you to attend the Event. Any additional costs related to your participation (including, but not limited to, travel, accommodation, and meals) are your sole responsibility. Scoil Acla CCÉ accepts no liability for any such expenses.

1.3 Removal from Event

Scoil Acla CCÉ reserves the right to refuse admission or request the removal of any participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or likely to interfere with the enjoyment or safety of other attendees, tutors, staff, or volunteers.

2. Media Consent

By attending the Event, you grant Scoil Acla CCÉ permission to photograph, film, or otherwise record your likeness (or that of your child or ward) during the Event. These recordings may be used, without limitation, in promotional or educational materials, social media, websites, and other media formats, now or in the future. No compensation will be provided, and no further approval is required.

3. Event Programme and Changes

You acknowledge that Scoil Acla CCÉ reserves the right to modify any aspect of the Event at its sole discretion. Registrations made after a specified deadline may incur a late registration fee, as determined by the Scoil Acla CCÉ committee. This fee will be communicated in advance where applicable.

5. Cancellations and Substitutions

5.1 Cancellations

Cancellations must be communicated in writing. A full refund may be granted at the discretion of Scoil Acla CCÉ. No refunds will be issued for non-attendance without prior notification.

6.1 Safety Requirements

All attendees must comply with health and safety guidelines and instructions provided by Scoil Acla CCÉ and/or venue staff. This includes any protocols introduced in response to public health concerns.

6.2 Medical Needs

If you or your child has a medical condition or disability that may require special assistance or considerations during the Event, you must inform the organisers in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made.

7. Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards tutors, volunteers, staff, and other participants. Bullying, harassment, or any form of discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated.
