Summary
- By registering for the Scoil Acla Summer School (the “Event”), you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions outlined below by Scoil Acla CCÉ.
1. Registration and Attendance
- 1.1 Registration on behalf of others
If you are registering on behalf of another individual (including a child or group), it is your responsibility to ensure that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. By completing the registration, you confirm that
you have made them aware of these terms and that they accept them.
- 1.2 Admission
Your registration entitles you to attend the Event. Any additional costs related to your participation (including, but not limited to, travel, accommodation, and meals) are your sole responsibility. Scoil Acla CCÉ accepts no liability
for any such expenses.
- 1.3 Removal from Event
Scoil Acla CCÉ reserves the right to refuse admission or request the removal of any participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or likely to interfere with the enjoyment or safety of other attendees, tutors, staff, or volunteers.
2. Media Consent
- By attending the Event, you grant Scoil Acla CCÉ permission to photograph, film, or otherwise record your likeness (or that of your child or ward) during the Event. These recordings may be used, without limitation, in promotional or educational materials, social media, websites, and other media formats, now or in the future. No compensation will be provided, and no further approval is required.
3. Event Programme and Changes
- You acknowledge that Scoil Acla CCÉ reserves the right to modify any aspect of the Event at its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, changes to the programme, schedule, tutors, performers, speakers, venues, or event content. Any such changes will be communicated as early as possible.
4. Fees and Payment
- 4.1 Scoil Acla Cancellation Policy
- At Scoil Acla, we understand that plans can change and we aim to accommodate our participants as best as possible.
- Before the Summer School: A full refund will be issued for any workshop cancellations made prior to the start of the Summer School.
- During the Summer School: Refunds requested after the Summer School has begun will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval of such refunds will depend on individual circumstances and may be subject to an administration fee.
- Please note: Refunds will not be issued for missed classes unless the absence results from an error or cancellation on the part of Scoil Acla.
5. Cancellations and Substitutions
- 5.1 Cancellations
- To request a refund, please contact us at info@scoilacla.ie providing your booking reference and reason for cancellation.
- 5.2 Substitutions
- Substitutions may be permitted, subject to availability and at the sole discretion of Scoil Acla CCÉ. Requests must be submitted in writing.
6. Health, Safety and Accessibility
- 6.1 Safety Requirements
- All attendees must comply with health and safety guidelines and instructions provided by Scoil Acla CCÉ and/or venue staff. This includes any protocols introduced in response to public health concerns.
- 6.2 Medical Needs
- If you or your child has a medical condition or disability that may require special assistance or considerations during the Event, you must inform the organisers in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made.
7. Code of Conduct
- Scoil Acla CCÉ is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards tutors, volunteers, staff, and other participants. Bullying, harassment, or any form of discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated.
8. Data Protection
- Personal data collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of managing your participation in the Event, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or necessary for the delivery of the Event.
9. Liability
- Scoil Acla CCÉ shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property, howsoever caused, during the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
